Bad day. Bad, bad day.

So far:

~ I woke up early, so i could leave early, but i was dilly dallying so i ended up leaving at the same time as usual.

~ I realised that i needed to pick up something from the post office, but forgot the slip thing. (I think they would have been my cute new cowboy boots for the Christmas party, and that would have made me happy.)

~ I use a ticket machine that says 'EXACT FARE ONLY'.
I had the exact fare.
I put in the exact fare.
The stupid machine ate my money.
I was buying a weekly ticket.
$27 down the drain.
I went to the people working.
First one blamed it on me, (the machine now said, 'NO NOTES' cause it ate mine).
I went to the manager. She did nothing except say 'I want to help you only didn't.
Had to buy another ticket. Total cost $54. ANGER.

~ Missed my train cause of the hoopla that just happened.

~ Tried to listen to calming music on the train, (all the good stuff, Linkin Park, Rage, etc), but only one of my earphones would work.

~ Bought toast from the place i go to EVERY DAY.
They burnt it.
I saw the girl go to put it in the bin, but then didn't.
She then scraped off the BLACK and gave it to me.

SUPER ANGER.

And now i have to deal with the stupid people who call me all day. (That's my job).
Its gonna be a LONG day.

But im not primary school kid!!

I went to the doctors today, and i haven't been in many years, so it was obviously bad.

But, I'm hoping that i can get a second opinion, cause while i liked/didn't hate what the doctor had to say, i think i got my little sister sick too, and we have both had this before, so its kinda odd that we both got it a second, cause its supposed to be a once in life type of thing.

Its CHICKEN POX.

.....Yes, i know that I'm not 5 years old, but it was still diagnosed as that.

So anyway, here are the symptoms of Chicken Pox and the purple are the ones that i have.

Fever ~ But its winter and i thought the whole going from cold outside to heated inside was doing it.
Headaches ~ But i usually get these all the time, so not a huge deal
Backache ~ I was sleeping on a fold out bed, so i blamed that.
Loss of appetite
Itchy, red rash which soon develops into blister-like sores - mild to severe itching ~ I just thought they were bug bites until they tripled (and ps. not blisters yet)

So i only didn't have one out of five, BUT i don't usually eat that much anyway, so to not eat all of my lunch/dinner or any of my breakfast, not a "thing".

Anyway, like i was saying, i wasn't sure whether i had chicken pox before or not, so i called, (alright, i msged them), to not only find out if i had had it before, but to also warn them, cause i was just visiting them on the weekend, (hence the fold out bed) and while it was confirmed, I also found out that my little sister, also found that she had spots... Uh oh...

BUT!!!

Here's the thing, we have both had it before!!

So either my doctor who said, and i quote "If its not the chicken pox, i have no idea WHAT it is", is wrong and its not that, and well, good luck to me.
OR, he is right and its very very odd, that two people who had the 'pox' got it a second time. (Yes, i know that its possible to get it twice, but two people in the same family to get it twice? Odd).

I find out tomorrow, or i don't find out and just assume*.

Either way, i have to stay away from work til Monday. Pregnant lady at work, and i don't want her child to be all misformed cause of me.

So after the doctor gives me my diagnosis, I will update. The sister is going to the doctors tomorrow too.

*Please note, that i went through a low blood sugar period where i was fainting a LOT and i had a blood test and the doctor 'forgot' to check the blood sugarness of the blood, so hopefully this (different) doctor isn't like that one...

***UPDATE***
So i got a call from the doctor (a day after he said he would get the results), and its NOT chicken pox. When i asked what else it could be..??
HE HAD NO FU(*ING IDEA.
BUT!!! (and this is the best bit)
He said I was fine to go back to work.

So lets recap.
He doesn't know what i have.
He is not aware if im contagious, (ps. i am cause my little sister has it too).
BUT He is happy for me to go back to work.

Nuff said, im going to see another doctor tomorrow.
I have until monday off.

***UPDATE #2***

So i went to a second doctors and she agreed that it WAS chicken pox...
But that i should still have the rest of the week off.
My sister went to the doctors and hers are apparently a viral rash..
So now im really confused.
And i CAN NOT WAIT to go back to work. I know, sad right?

Im joining the herd..

OK, i am noticing a theme with blogs today, and hmmmm i wonder what that is.
Lets see....
That's right.

Michael Jackson is dead, etc etc.

Now, I'm not a heartless biatch, or anything like that, but i have had enough and i need to blog, cos everyone i talk to about it, is all sad waa waa babies and wont have a CONVERSATION about it, but instead just want to wallow about it. Blah.

Now, i was born in the mid 80s. I'm not old enough (or sheltered too much) to have gone through a 'Micheal Jackson' stage. Unlike most people that i know who are older then me.

I got to know Micheal as "Wacko Jacko". The one who paid off a small boy when he was up against pedo charges. I knew the Michael when the whole 'is he black or is he white?' business was happening. I knew the Micheal when he was having random kids, (although from the photos i have seen his kids are beautiful, so no disrespect to them). I knew the Micheal when he was holding his child 'Blanket' over the hotel balcony. I knew Micheal when he went on that Documentary and i knew the Micheal that was in hiding up til today.

Now, obviously, i knew of some of his songs, i know the main ones, but i can't say that i have seen the whole clip of thriller, nor of we are the world (?), and i think i have only seen the black or white clip once.

I don't understand the big hoopla people make when 'celebrities' pass. i get that you know them, but do you really?

Do you know what his kids call him or what his favourite book or TV show is? Do you know his favourite birthday? Do you know what his friends call him? Do you what he is like when he wakes up in the morning? Or when he hasn't gotten enough sleep?
All of those things, i know of my FRIENDS. And my FRIENDS know these things of me.

Its always the same when a celebrity dies, and i don't get it. I am made out to be a heartless person, because i am honest when i hear someone crying about missing said person on the radio. How can you miss someone you don't really know?
I understand that you have his music, but his music is still there. I understand that you know that he is still there, but he was barely out and about.

Can someone explain this phenomenon to me please?

The same thing happened when Heath Ledger died/killed himself.
And again, i was being heartless, because i wasn't upset.

What also upsets me is that Farrah Fawcatt also died today. Did you know this? I doubt many people do.

It seemed like she a beautiful lady, who died slowly over years from a terrible disease that affects many. Yet, she is a side note from the fabulous Micheal. Like she is worth less as a person.
How can we let something like that happen?

PS. On a side note, it is my little sisters birthday today, and i am refusing to speak of death on what should be a happy day for her. I will not allow her birthday to turn into a death day. I had a friend who's birthday is 9/11, only before 9/11, but he was forgotten about that year which is just really really sad to me.
